Music Motion nace en el atril: de años de afinar de oído en la orquesta, donde un sostenido nunca fue un bemol y donde la afinación no se calcula, se escucha. Es una familia de herramientas construida sobre esa práctica, para que suene en el navegador lo que el oído ya sabe. Music Motion was born at the music stand: from years of tuning by ear in the orchestra, where a sharp was never a flat and where intonation is not calculated but heard. It is a family of tools built on that practice, so that the browser sounds the way the ear already knows.

Pitagórica puraPure Pythagorean
Las alturas se construyen con proporciones exactas de 2 y 3 —octavas y quintas puras— y no se redondean. Por eso Re♯ y Mi♭ son dos notas distintas, con dos alturas distintas. El temperamento igual no desaparece: queda como lo que es, una excepción declarada, disponible para comparar.Pitches are built from exact ratios of 2 and 3 — pure octaves and fifths — and are never rounded. That is why D♯ and E♭ are two different notes at two different pitches. Equal temperament does not vanish: it stays as what it is, a declared exception, there to compare.

Ninguna herramienta de Music Motion le dice al músico cómo debería sonar algo: le muestra lo que suena y lo deja juzgar. Los nombres, la teoría y los números llegan después, como andamiaje de lo que ya se sintió. Es el orden en que se aprende música de verdad.No Music Motion tool tells the musician how something should sound: it shows what sounds and lets the ear judge. Names, theory and numbers come afterwards, as scaffolding for what was already felt. It is the order in which music is actually learned.

A note has the same identity in all three: tuning in one is tuning in all, and what the score writes is exactly what the engine plays.

El Cosmic Keyboard es el único motor de sonido: cada tecla lleva arriba la altura pitagórica y abajo la temperada, para oír la diferencia. El Score Editor escribe por canales y toca por grados de la tonalidad. La Console mezcla; el Register Response es el banco donde se diseña y se mide cada timbre; el Player convierte MIDI al formato propio de la suite; el Coach escucha en silencio, avisa cuando hace falta y conduce un juego de composición que termina en una obra a cuatro voces escrita por quien juega.Six apps talking to each other in real time from one browser.
